Since 1974, the Infant Development Program (IDP) in Lock Haven, PA has been dedicated to helping children and families thrive. What began as a small initiative has grown into a trusted community resource offering early intervention, preschool, parenting programs, and in-home nursing supports. We believe every child deserves the chance to grow, learn, and live to their fullest potential — and every family deserves the tools and support to get there.
Our Mission
To provide inclusive, no-cost programs and services that promote the developmental, social, and emotional growth of children, and to support families and individuals with developmental disabilities in leading independent, connected lives.
Why It Matters
For more than 50 years, we’ve walked alongside families as partners, advocates, and cheerleaders. Whether helping a toddler take their first steps, supporting a parent through challenges, or giving adults with disabilities the tools to live more independently, our work is grounded in compassion, inclusion, and respect.
